360° Streif

The »Streif« is one of the most dangerous ski slopes in the world. Speeding down here is only for the bold-hearted - like top ski racer Daron Rahlves.

For this shoot we put a 360° camera on one of Daron’s ski poles. Not an easy task for him to keep this construction stable while speeding down a race course!

The users can look downhill and face the slope, feeling the thrill and adrenaline rush of “being” the ski racer - or they swivel around to watch Daron Rahlves, the concentration on his face and how he reacts to the strains of this demanding course.

To give the viewers an even better understanding of the impact such a race has on the skier, we put sensors on Daron’s body to measure biometric data.
